My goals in this artwork, is to make the viewer feel connected to the print when they see it. I accomplished this, by putting a lot detail into the leaves. My painting is about the texture of the things involved in the print, like the leaves, the tree and my face. The most difficult challenge I had to face, was carving out my face. I met that challenge, by not going too much detail, but by leaving the things the most important things like the nose, the eyes etc. My print really works on how I covered my face with the leaves. The one thing that I learned is that I could bring to next my artwork, is being more exact, especially when I placed the black print on the colored print. The artists that I learned a lot from is Barwick, because I love how she used and mix all different kinds of colors. If I had a do over than I would do over my hair. The thing that I feel best about my print is the leaves.
